/01 chapter one — the artist

A sound between rage, ambient and future-trap.

Noah Olivier Smith, born February 26, 2000 in Lake Oswego, Oregon — better known as Yeat — is an American recording artist, producer and engineer based in Los Angeles.

He began rapping in 2016 under the alias Lil Yeat before breaking out in 2021 with Up 2 Më. Songs like “Gët Busy” and “Sorry Bout That” went viral on TikTok, launching him into the mainstream. His distinctive vocals, energetic electronic beats and infectious melodies make him one of SoundCloud's new wave pioneers.

From 2 Alivë (#6 Billboard) to LYFESTYLE (#1 Billboard, 89k first week), Yeat has built one of rap's most singular universes — culminating in ADL (2026), his sixth studio album.
